I thought some folks might appreciate this: it’s very brief look at what goes into creating a scar. After finalizing the design (image 1) and applying a stencil, I lightly “outline” the entire piece. After completing the outline, a topical product is applied (image 2) that drastically minimizes discomfort and bleeding. Then I begin to sculpt the piece by cutting deeper, varying depth to create different line weights (image 3), and then tissue is removed where needed, leaving us with our breathtaking final product (image 4). This piece is Chad’s, but I’d love to work with you to design your perfect piece!
